In the Iyengar Method,  the art of deep rest is deliberately constructed. It is a practice where the body is fully supported by props so effort dissolves, the nervous system exhales, and awareness becomes quietly luminous 🧘‍♀️✨

Restorative poses are not simply “lying down and relaxing.” Each asana is precisely set up using bolsters, blankets, blocks, chairs, and belts so the body is aligned, open, and held without strain. When the structure is correct, the muscles soften on their own, the breath becomes unforced, and the mind settles.
